Welcome to the Prince Rupert Campus

This $12 million facility is located downtown at 353-5th Street. The facility is designed as two buildings with an interconnecting link and consists of 19 classrooms, 2 computer labs, 2 science labs, multi-purpose room, large library, nautical program classroom, Ridley Terminals Inc., Multi-Media Centre, 3 seminar rooms, trades facilities, a Learning Resource Centre, student lounge with associated offices, and administrative and service spaces.

The Prince Rupert Campus provides service to Prince Rupert, Port Edward and the North Coast villages and is one of the fastest growing campuses in the College region, with enrollments in full-time programs up almost 20% over the last six years. Because of the city's location on an inner harbour on the north coast, mild marine air keeps the temperatures moderate throughout the year.

Full-time programming in Prince Rupert includes University Credit Associate Degree Program, Welding, Business Administration, Career and College Preparation, Electrical, and English as a Second Language.

Programs unique to the College and offered at the Prince Rupert campus include: the Marine program, providing theoretical training for mariners; the Applied Coastal Ecology Program, focusing on resources that are inherent to coastal areas; and the Coastal Eco-Adventure Tourism Certificate Program, preparing learners for careers in the adventure tourism sector.

The campus offers a number of continuing education courses and programs and students can access the Business Technology Program through on-line delivery.
