Northwest Community College (NWCC) serves seven First Nations in northwest British Columbia: Haida, Tsimshian, Nisga'a, Haisla, Gitxsan, Wet'suwet'en, and Tahltan and acknowledges the traditional territory its campuses reside on:

| In
2004 NWCC, in coordination with its First Nations
Council and representatives from the seven
First Nations the College serves, created an All
Nations Educational Pole to acknowledge
the role and impact of post-secondary education
in the lives of First Nations people in the
Northwest. It symbolizes the UNITY that
is felt by the Wet’suwet’en, Gitxsan,
Haisla, Tahltan, Nisga’a, Tsimshian and
Haida when it comes to meeting the educational
needs of their people. |
