Freda Diesing students showcased at the Olympics
   
   
Father and son Norm (right) and Robin McLean pose with masks they carved for the 2009 Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art Student Exhibit. The red one in the middle is carved by Robin and will be worn by his father during a performance at a medal presentation ceremony Feb. 14.
   
 

Dean Heron’s artwork, painted on 20 mini canvasses, will be displayed during the 2010 Winter Games and beyond at the lodge at Cypress Mountain in West Vancouver, site to freestyle skiing and snowboarding competition.
