Applied Coastal Ecology

ACE Photo Galleries

A key component of the ACE program is the hands-on technical skills acquired through field settings that teach students practical and procedural skills such as: how to collect, identify and work with plants and terrestrial & aquatic animals; how to manage and enhance forests, soils, fish and wildlife species; how to complete various habitat assessments, ecosystem classifications; how to make remediation/mitigation recommendations; and how to collect and process biological samples.

The photo gallery below provides a sample of some of the field trips students participate in.
