The focus will be on professional field protocols for estimating populations of marine aquatic animals. Some examples included, markand recapture studies, Shorekeeper field surveys, Clam biomass field surveys using passive quadrant sampling, eelgrass mapping using GPS, mapping the physical substrate characteristics and biological features of intertidal habitars, tagging equipment technologies, and others.
