FILM 102 Modern American Cinema

The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the art and language of cinema. The overall goal is to teach students the styles and functions of various types of cinema, and to link the subject of art to the social, political, technological, cultural and economic movements of the late 20 th century and early 21 st century.
