HIST 106 Canada Since the Mid-Nineteenth Century

In this course we will study the growth of the Canadian Nation from the mid 1800s to the present. We will examine some of the major events that affected the Canadian people and see how modern Canadian society developed. As well, we will look at some global events such as the World Wars, the Great Depression, the Cold War and the advent of the technological age and see how these events were experienced in Canada.
