This practicum provides an opportunity for home support workers to apply the caring philosophy, knowledge and skills with older adults in an intermediate and/or extended care facility. Select supervised experiences will emphasize the organizational skills to care for a group of residents safely.

Learn all the elements of First Aid including heat and cold injuries, poisons, medical conditions, bone, joint, head and spinal injuries. This course includes CPR certification.
