Distance & Online Learning

Northwest Community College offers a number of courses using online and video conferencing formats.  This is referred to as Distributed or Distance Learning.  Course offerings vary from year to year.

At NWCC, we use Desire to Learn (D2L) to deliver our online and blended courses.  Depending on the course, in D2L you can complete your coursework in fully online classes, or to share class work with your instructor and fellow students in a way that supports your regular classroom work.

For some courses, staff support and lab availability at NWCC campuses make distance learning a viable alternative if you are unable to attend during regular class times.  Contact the Program Coordinator or Instructor to see if this option is available.
